Kiera Boyle
Freelance Writer
"Storytelling is second nature to me, whether I’m writing about the beauty of rural life or the grit and grace of the equestrian world."
With a background in content marketing and journalism, I specialise in crafting copy that connects with country-minded audiences and brings brand stories to life with warmth, clarity and purpose.

A Bit About Me
I’m Kiera, a freelance writer and lifelong equestrian. Over the years, I’ve written countless features for Horse & Rider and PONY Magazine, contributed short stories and quizzes to their beloved annuals, and had bylines in a range of equestrian titles.
From producing thoughtful long-form articles to creating visuals and video content for blogs and brand platforms, I know how to tell stories that resonate with horse lovers and countryside communities alike.
I have owned horses for over 16 years and have competed in dressage, showjumping and eventing. I’m a qualified BHS Stage 3 Coach with a keen interest in promoting a more natural, balanced way of living for horses – think barefoot, track systems and pressure-free training.
As a “zillenial” navigating the realities of modern country life, I bring a fresh, authentic perspective to my work, blending traditional values with a contemporary edge.
Alongside my freelance projects, I’ve worked as a journalist, marketer and PR manager for brands like Cavago, Horse & Country and D J Murphy Publishers, gaining experience that enhances everything I write with insight and strategy.
Let’s Work Together
I’m currently looking to expand my writing portfolio into the broader rural lifestyle space.
I also have availability for new equestrian projects, whether that’s editorial writing, branded content or creative collaborations. If you think we’d be a good fit, I’d love to hear from you.
